Nashville, Tennessee, hosts the yearly St. Jude Rock’ n’ Roll Nashville Marathon. This marathon was launched in 2000 and has witnessed an increase in the number of participants every year. Where is the Start and Finish?

The Marathon starts at the Nissan Stadium near Downtown Nashville. Here, the runners follow a scenic route down Broadway and past the honky-tonks, and the Schermerhorn Symphony Centre. This starting point is slightly hilly and challenging for most of the runners.

They then proceed to Demonbreun before passing by the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Cummins Station. The runners then split off at Gay Street, where the half marathon runners proceed to their finish point at Rosa L. Parks Blvd (Nissan Stadium).

The full marathon runners then proceed to the Cumberland River, running along the riverfront and back to Downton Nashville along Rosa L. Parks Blvd. They then follow the route along 5th Street through Davidson Street and Shelby Park. From here, they proceed back to the finish area at Nissan Stadium. There are live country music bands and cheer groups throughout the marathon route.
